New Relic is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join its global observability platform team. This role focuses on architecting and building complex, business-critical Service Cloud solutions that power customer support operations at scale.
You will partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust Salesforce implementations. Key responsibilities include configuring and optimizing Service Cloud features such as Omni-Channel, Lightning Service Console, Case Management, Entitlements, Milestones, Salesforce Knowledge, and Experience Cloud. You'll architect and develop highly scalable integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems including CTI/telephony platforms, Jira, and other third-party applications.
The role demands strong technical depth across the Salesforce platform: declarative configuration (Lightning Pages, Flow Builder) and coded solutions (Apex triggers/classes, Lightning Web Components). You'll develop customer-facing interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks. Integration expertise is critical—you'll design and implement REST APIs, web services, and complex data synchronization patterns.
You'll work autonomously while collaborating closely with a US-based team, with scheduling overlap in Pacific Standard Time to ensure seamless coordination. Responsibilities include defining technical approaches, estimating work, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining comprehensive documentation and training materials.
This is an individual contributor role where you'll drive solution design and technical decision-making without direct people management. You'll apply best practices in Agile methodologies, test-driven development, and continuous integration tools (SFDX, Git, Jenkins, Ant).
