Commvault is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for its Riyadh office to provide pre-sales technical support to partners and channel teams. This is a customer-facing technical role focused on driving complex sales opportunities in the data management, security, and cyber resilience space.
You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers at all levels—from C-suite to technical stakeholders—translating business requirements into technical solutions. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the regional pre-sales team, presenting and demonstrating Commvault's software suite, coordinating technical expertise across complex deals, sizing and scoping solutions, managing proof-of-concept activities, and supporting deal closure.
You'll work cross-functionally with sales, support, marketing, and channel teams to ensure positive partner experiences and contribute to regional revenue goals. The role requires active participation in sales meetings, quarterly business reviews, and field marketing initiatives, positioning you as a go-to technical resource and leader within the pre-sales division.
Required qualifications include demonstrated experience in software/SaaS pre-sales within data management, security, or cyber resilience. You need broad technical knowledge spanning applications, cloud infrastructure, compliance, disaster recovery, tape systems, storage arrays, networking protocols, and multi-platform enterprise environments. You should have a track record managing enterprise clients on sophisticated, high-value deals and RFPs.
You are a dynamic, ownership-oriented individual motivated by success, with exceptional interpersonal and commercial skills. Fluency in both English and Arabic (verbal and written) is essential for this Saudi Arabia-based role.
