Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead technical strategy for the Securiti AI portfolio following its acquisition. You will serve as the primary technical subject matter expert, partnering with a Sales Specialist and supporting 3–5 Account Executives and Solution Engineers.
In this role, you will guide enterprise customers through the entire sales cycle—from needs assessment and solution design through hands-on demonstrations and proof-of-concept delivery. You'll lead technical discussions addressing data discovery, posture management, and compliance requirements, while building trust with C-level and technical stakeholders. Your expertise will be critical in showcasing the value of AI-powered data security posture management (DSPM) solutions.
Key responsibilities include acting as the primary technical contact for Securiti AI during sales engagements, designing and presenting customized product demonstrations, addressing complex customer security needs, and collaborating with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure smooth customer transitions.
You bring 10+ years of technical sales experience in security and 15+ years in enterprise software/SaaS technical sales. You have strong hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP; deep understanding of data and cloud security; and familiarity with DSPM frameworks, Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud data systems. You're fluent in data privacy and security standards (GDPR, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001) and hold relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM. You communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders and thrive in complex, high-stakes sales environments.
