Veeam, following its acquisition of Securiti AI, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive technical leadership in the sales organization, focusing on the Securiti AI portfolio of data security posture management (DSPM) solutions. You will serve as the primary technical subject matter expert, partnering with a Sales Specialist and supporting 3–5 Account Executives and Solution Engineers throughout the sales cycle.
In this role, you will guide customers from initial needs assessment through solution design, delivering hands-on demonstrations and proof-of-concepts that showcase the value of Veeam's data and AI security offerings. You will lead technical discussions with both technical and business stakeholders, addressing customer needs in data discovery, posture management, and compliance. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to implementation.
You bring 10+ years of technical sales experience in security, with a strong background in data and/or cloud security. You have hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deep knowledge of data privacy and security standards such as GDPR, NIST 800-53, and ISO 27001. Ideally, you hold relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, or cloud-specific credentials) and have experience with DSPM frameworks, Linux, Kubernetes, or cloud data systems. Your ability to communicate effectively across technical and business audiences, combined with your consultative approach to sales engineering, will be critical to your success.
