As a Senior Sales Engineer based in Spain (remote), you will drive new customer opportunities and integrate Cohesity's world-class products into enterprise environments. Your responsibilities include uncovering and qualifying new business by providing sales and technical assistance, clearly articulating Cohesity technology to both business and technical stakeholders. You'll enable customers to integrate products into production environments, respond to customer and partner requests for information and proposals, and develop deep expertise in secondary storage technology strategy for major accounts.
You will communicate Cohesity's vision through product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, and proposals. You'll identify customer needs, design and lead proof-of-concept implementations that showcase both technology and business value, and collaborate with product management as a field representative to convey customer requirements and drive product improvements. Occasionally, you may provide project management and post-sales technical support.
Required qualifications: 5+ years in a similar sales engineering or pre-sales role; experience with enterprise hardware/software, cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS), or virtual infrastructure; comfort navigating multiple decision-makers; strong presentation skills for technical and business audiences; excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; self-motivated and autonomous work style; willingness to travel as needed; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
