Salary: USD 99,000 - 130,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join the Technical Revenue Accounting team as part of the Contract to Cash Process. Reporting to the Technical Revenue Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for accurate and timely revenue recognition across a diverse portfolio of product, service, subscription (lease), and maintenance contracts. You will leverage Oracle Fusion Projects to manage the end-to-end project accounting lifecycle, including contract review, fulfillment, cutoff, and allocation of revenue according to ASC 606. Your responsibilities include determining appropriate revenue recognition models (point-in-time versus over time), evaluating transfer of control for product sales and service delivery, and calculating Standalone Selling Price (SSP) for contract pricing allocation. Key responsibilities: - Work with Technical Accounting to ensure ASC 606 compliance for new and modified customer contracts - Perform technical assessments to determine timing and method of revenue recognition - Provide guidance to cross-functional teams (Program Managers, Finance Program Analysts) on revenue recognition matters - Execute revenue close procedures efficiently within monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines - Monitor contract funding, limits, modifications, closeouts, and progress to completion - Ensure GAAP compliance and adherence to company policies - Collaborate with Project Management, Contracts, and Pricing teams on contract terms and revenue impacts - Prepare and review complex revenue journal entries with proper classification and documentation - Support internal and external audit requests, including DCAA audits - Identify process improvement and automation opportunities within the revenue accounting cycle - Act as a power user of Oracle Fusion Cloud for revenue-related activities including contract setup, project accounting, and contract asset/liability accounting - Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution - 3+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting with significant ASC 606 exposure - Demonstrated experience with government contracting (product, service, leasing, and maintenance contracts) strongly preferred - Hands-on experience with large-scale ERP systems (Oracle, SAP); Oracle Fusion Cloud and Salesforce experience strongly preferred - Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate complex financial concepts - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas, data modeling) - Must be authorized to work in the United States
