Standard Bots is hiring a Senior Recruiter to build the manufacturing and operations team for their AI-native industrial robot arms. The company recently closed a $200M Series C at a $1B valuation, backed by RoboStrategy, General Catalyst, Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund, and Samsung Next. This is a full-cycle recruiting role focused on sourcing and hiring across the entire factory floor—from entry-level assembly technicians to plant managers, manufacturing engineers, and quality leads. You'll own the complete hiring pipeline, from initial outreach through offer close, and report directly to the Head of Recruiting. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining outbound sourcing pipelines using email, LinkedIn, and alternative channels (trade schools, vocational programs, community networks, referrals). You'll run multi-stage outreach sequences, track response rates, and continuously experiment with messaging and copy to optimize conversion. You'll partner with manufacturing leadership to define role requirements, build interview scorecards, and run consistent, structured processes. You'll also lead offer negotiations in a competitive skilled labor market and maintain clean ATS data in Ashby. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with meaningful exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or hardware environments. You're sourcing-obsessed, comfortable operating without a playbook in high-growth startup settings, and have demonstrated success running and optimizing multi-stage outreach campaigns. You track metrics (open rates, response rates, conversion) and iterate when numbers slip. You have a sharp eye for copy and can distinguish between effective and AI-generated messaging. Direct experience hiring across manufacturing roles—hourly production workers, skilled trades, manufacturing engineers, operations leadership—is essential. Nice-to-have skills include experience in robotics or advanced manufacturing hiring, familiarity with skilled trades recruiting (CNC machinists, welders, electricians), experience building recruiting infrastructure from scratch, and proficiency with AI sourcing tools and automation platforms. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the Glen Cove, NY manufacturing facility. The company is unable to offer visa sponsorship at this time.
