Re:Build Manufacturing operates an advanced, end-to-end manufacturing platform partnering with industrial companies and innovators across aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy and environment, and robotics and automation. Re:Build DAPR Engineering, LLC is an engineering design and analysis consulting firm in Merrimack, New Hampshire, developing and delivering turnkey industrial machines, custom automation solutions, and engineering analysis using FEA tools.
You will drive quality from design through production, taking ownership of product quality across the entire lifecycle. Your work will span early design input through incoming materials, in-process controls, and finished goods inspection.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to product design teams by driving FMEAs, identifying critical-to-quality (CTQ) characteristics, and establishing verification methods early in development
- Analyze process data statistically to confirm processes are in control and lead troubleshooting when they are not
- Investigate quality issues and document corrective actions using 8D or similar structured methodology
- Drive Material Review Board (MRB) actions to resolve nonconforming material
- Inspect incoming parts and materials to catch issues before production
- Track KPIs such as scrap rate, rework, and yield, and lead continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain calibration schedules for inspection equipment to ensure measurement accuracy
- Conduct supplier audits and provide recommendations on preferred vendors
- Support company-wide ISO 9001 internal and external audits
You see quality not as a final checkpoint but as something designed and built into products from the beginning through solid data, sound processes, and close collaboration. You are comfortable moving between hands-on inspection work and higher-level statistical analysis, digging into data to find root causes, documenting clearly, and driving fixes that stick.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or another engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ISO standards, root cause analysis, and statistical process control
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, identify trends, and guide decisions that improve performance
- Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with strong Excel skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently in written and verbal English, including moderately complex documents and group discussions
- Willingness to travel domestically on an occasional basis
Preferred:
- Six Sigma or other quality-related certification
- Experience with ERP software (e.g., Syteline)
- Exposure to CAD/CAE tools, preferably SolidWorks
