Scopely, a leading mobile games publisher behind MONOPOLY GO!, Pokémon GO, and Stumble Guys, is hiring a Senior QA Engineer for the Royal Lounge Casino team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis.
You will own quality assurance for mobile and web casino games, working across multiple platforms and devices. Your responsibilities include writing and executing comprehensive test cases, performing functional and non-functional testing (including network traffic and API analysis), and collaborating with Scrum teams, producers, and developers to ensure releases meet high quality standards. You'll conduct root cause analysis on defects, identify quality trade-offs and project risks, and develop deep understanding of game mechanics, player journeys, and edge cases.
A key part of the role is mentoring junior QA team members, supporting process improvements, and partnering with the QA Lead to enhance test coverage and release quality. You'll also support team coordination when needed.
You bring 4–7 years of software testing experience, ideally with mobile, web, or gaming products. You're proficient with QA tools (Jira, TestRail, Charles Proxy, Fiddler, browser dev tools), understand client-server architecture and APIs, and have strong exploratory testing skills. You're comfortable with SQL basics, SDLC/STLC, and Agile methodologies, with excellent communication and analytical thinking.
Bonus: experience testing mobile or web games, live-service products, casino/slots games, or test automation frameworks. A genuine passion for gaming and understanding of player behavior, engagement mechanics, and LiveOps is a plus.
