ShopMy is a unicorn-backed marketplace platform ($1.5B valuation, backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Avenir Growth Capital, and Bain Capital Ventures) transforming e-commerce through human-led curation at scale. The company enables brands and creators to partner directly, driving discovery through trusted tastemakers and authentic recommendations.
As Senior Product Marketing Manager for Brand, you will own the complete go-to-market strategy for ShopMy's brand audience—DTC brands, advertisers, and enterprise retailers who power platform growth. This is a high-visibility individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Product GTM, positioned at the intersection of Product, Marketing, and Sales.
Key responsibilities include:
**Brand Positioning & Messaging**: Define ShopMy's value proposition, positioning pillars, and narrative framework for brand partners across different segments and use cases.
**Launch Ownership**: Lead GTM strategy for new features and products targeting the brand audience, partnering with Product, Marketing, and Design to drive awareness, adoption, and measurable impact.
**Sales & Revenue Enablement**: Create the narrative that moves deals—equipping the Revenue team with positioning, pitch decks, talk tracks, and competitive intelligence to accelerate conversion and deal velocity.
**Market & Customer Intelligence**: Develop deep understanding of brand buyer needs, decision-making criteria, and competitive dynamics; translate insights into sharper messaging, stronger positioning, and actionable product feedback.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Drive alignment across Product, Marketing, and GTM teams, owning the connective tissue that keeps brand launches coordinated and messaging consistent.
**Strategic Insight**: Synthesize performance data, customer insights, and competitive signals into a clear point of view to sharpen ShopMy's brand GTM strategy over time.
Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of product marketing experience, ideally with B2B, marketplace, or platform products. You should be an exceptional writer and storyteller who can simplify complexity and make persuasive cases to sophisticated business audiences. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, strategic instincts, and comfort with ambiguity are essential. Experience marketing to brands, advertisers, DTC buyers, influencer marketing, affiliate/performance marketing, marketplace dynamics, or high-growth startup sales environments is a plus.
