Tempo is a leading Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) platform trusted by over 30,000 customers, including a third of Fortune 500 companies. The company is transitioning from an Atlassian marketplace vendor to an enterprise-focused provider with a new AI-native flagship platform.
As Senior Product Marketing Manager reporting to the Director of Enterprise Product Marketing, you will own persona- and vertical-specific messaging and go-to-market strategy for a diverse buyer base ranging from hands-on practitioners to C-suite executives. Your responsibilities include developing differentiated positioning for multiple buyer personas (C-suite executives, PMO leaders, product leaders, IT leaders, digital/AI transformation leaders) and building narratives across industry verticals that showcase the full Tempo product suite.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute persona-specific messaging and positioning that connects each audience to their desired business outcomes
- Design and run integrated go-to-market programs and product launches, from strategy through measurement
- Create comprehensive sales enablement materials including pitch decks, solution briefs, competitive battlecards, discovery frameworks, ROI tools, and seller training for complex enterprise sales cycles
- Partner with Product Management and Finance on pricing, packaging, and positioning strategy
- Collaborate with Partner Marketing on co-marketing programs and ecosystem narratives
- Work with Growth Marketing to translate messaging into campaigns and test resonance across segments
- Conduct customer interviews, gather sales feedback, and track competitive landscape to validate positioning
- Guide customer advisory programs and ensure insights feed back into messaging and enablement
- Build and mature a launch tiering framework with repeatable playbooks and cross-functional processes
- Leverage AI tools daily for research, competitive analysis, and content production
- Influence product roadmap by bringing market and buyer insights to Product Management
You bring 5-8 years of enterprise B2B SaaS product marketing experience with strong solutions marketing background. You have proven success developing persona- and vertical-specific messaging, building and running go-to-market programs that drove measurable pipeline or revenue, and creating sales enablement for complex multi-stakeholder deals. You excel at designing repeatable, scalable marketing processes and frameworks. You're comfortable using AI tools as part of your workflow while maintaining quality and judgment.
