Serval is an AI-native automation platform that builds intelligent agents to transform enterprise operations. Founded in early 2024 and backed by Sequoia Capital, Redpoint Ventures, and other leading investors, Serval is trusted by companies like Fox, Notion, Perplexity, Vercel, and Brex to automate high-volume operational work across IT, HR, Finance, Security, Legal, and Engineering. You will own how Serval shows up in the market as a founding voice on the product marketing function. This is a builder role where you'll set the messaging foundation, run product launches, and equip the sales team with the tools and narratives needed to close deals. Key responsibilities include: owning positioning and messaging that differentiates Serval against legacy ITSM and other AI solutions; leading product launches from strategy through execution, coordinating product, sales, and demand generation; building the sales enablement layer including pitch decks, battle cards, demo narratives, and competitive intelligence; becoming the expert on buyer personas (IT, security, and ops leaders) and their pain points; driving competitive intelligence and arming the field to win; partnering with demand gen and content on campaigns and thought leadership; supporting pricing and packaging decisions with market insights; and creating customer-facing proof through case studies and ROI narratives. You'll need 5+ years in product marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS sold to technical buyers in IT, security, DevOps, or infrastructure. You must have a track record of owning positioning and launches end-to-end, strong technical writing skills, deep experience partnering with sales teams, analytical instincts grounded in research and data, and comfort operating in ambiguity. Bonus experience includes ITSM, IT operations, identity/access, security, or AI/agent products.
