k-ID is building infrastructure for child safety and privacy compliance across 200+ jurisdictions, serving enterprise gaming, social platforms, and consumer AI products. This is the first dedicated product marketing role at a well-funded, fast-moving startup with an established sales team.
You'll own the complete product marketing function, reporting to the Head of Marketing. Currently, every sales rep builds their own materials and playbooks—your job is to consolidate what works into a repeatable, shared system.
Primary responsibilities include:
**Sales Enablement**: Build the core toolkit (pitch decks, one-pagers, use-case breakdowns, objection guides, vertical-specific narratives). Consolidate field-tested plays into maintained assets. Own training cadence and be the first call when deals need sharper storytelling. Translate regulatory changes into selling motions within days. Arm new GTM motions (including nascent outbound/SDR) with messaging and materials.
**Competitive Intelligence**: Build and run the competitive program (landscape map, battlecards for top competitors). Stand up a win/loss loop that systematically feeds messaging, battlecards, and product feedback.
**Product Narrative & Markitecture**: Codify the product story across the portfolio (CDK, AgeKit+, neimo., Family Connect, Compliance Studio). Create markitecture diagrams, per-product messaging docs, and use-case libraries mapped to persona, vertical, and regulation. Operationalize ICP and persona messaging (compliance counsel, trust & safety leads, product execs buy differently). Own product-level web content. Support packaging and portfolio narrative.
**Customer Proof**: Own case studies end-to-end—identify candidates, secure approvals, interview stakeholders, ship quantified stories. Build proof library (reference quotes, stats, named-logo assets).
**Launches & Demos**: Stand up tiered launch process for meaningful releases. Produce demo assets (videos, click-throughs, guided narratives), hands-on or directing production with AI tooling.
Success in 6–12 months means: sales runs every deal from a current, self-serve enablement library; battlecards live for top 5 competitors (quarterly refresh); 3–5 published case studies with named customers; codified product story; every meaningful release ships through tiered launch process; demo videos in real deals; measurable impact on enablement usage, sales confidence, competitive win rate, and case-study pipeline influence.
You'll work directly with the Head of Marketing, sales and BD teams, product and engineering, and in-house legal and regulatory experts. As the marketing team scales, this role is positioned to grow into product marketing leadership.
