Fin (part of Intercom) is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own positioning and messaging for its AI platform and proprietary Apex models. This is a net-new, strategic role focused on making Fin's technical, extensible platform legible and compelling to technical personas—developers, technical buyers, and AI teams—while establishing market leadership. You will build the narrative around Fin's vertically integrated AI models, explaining why Fin's own model investment is a differentiator to both technical and non-technical audiences. You'll lead positioning and messaging for the platform layer: APIs, integrations, MCP, CLI, and developer surfaces, translating deep technical capability into clear stories that resonate with builders and decision-makers. Key responsibilities include: partnering daily with Product and Engineering to shape technical narratives; defining ICP and audience strategy for the platform; creating high-quality PMM assets (launch pages, technical docs, demos, videos, briefs); building sales and partnership enablement; conducting customer research with developers to inform messaging; leading go-to-market moments for platform releases; and raising the bar on technical storytelling craft across the team. You are a hybrid: strategist, storyteller, and technologist who moves fluidly between customer insight, product detail, competitive analysis, and creative expression. You get hands-on with products—reading docs, using APIs, understanding the tech—before crafting messaging. You have strong writing skills, editorial judgment, and the ability to synthesize insight into narratives that cut through noise. You work comfortably with product leaders and engineers, running large, high-stakes work independently. A genuine interest in AI—how models work, how the stack evolves, why it matters to builders—is essential.
