Strava is a global community platform for active people with over 200 million athletes across 185+ countries. The company is backed by Sequoia Capital, TCV, Madrone Partners, and Jackson Square Ventures. You will lead and improve Strava's subscription experience, owning the conversion and monetization strategy. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape how users discover and experience Strava's full value proposition, working across the entire funnel from pricing and packaging to messaging and positioning. Key responsibilities: - Own the subscription strategy and roadmap to increase free-to-paid conversion and long-term subscriber retention - Design and drive rigorous experiments to understand what drives purchase decisions across the full funnel - Work closely with engineering, design, analytics, research, and marketing to deliver high-quality experiences - Track and own core subscription health metrics including conversion rates, churn, renewals, and lifetime value - Communicate experimentation strategy, performance, and trade-offs to product peers and leadership You'll operate in a fast-paced environment with a flexible hybrid model (approximately 3 days per week on-site in San Francisco). REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of experience managing global subscription products, conversion funnels, or driving growth in consumer software - Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in experimentation and A/B testing, including ability to evaluate results (conversion rate, trial-to-paid, plan mix shift, LTV) - Calm, adaptable operator who thrives amidst rapid change and brings clarity to fast-paced environments - Action-oriented mindset with ability to prioritize work and solve complex problems, balancing user experience with revenue impact - Clear communication skills with ability to build consensus across product, engineering, data, design, research, marketing, and leadership teams
