Xero is seeking a Senior Product Growth Manager to lead partner onboarding and activation for its accountant and bookkeeper community. This is a product-led growth role within the go-to-market team, focused on closing the gap between initial partner sign-ups and those who become confident, paying partners bringing clients to Xero. You will own the full funnel analysis across all channels—product experience, digital outreach, and human sales conversations—to identify where partners get stuck and why. Your core responsibility is to form hypotheses, design experiments, and measure incremental revenue impact. Solutions may be purely digital (removing friction, simplifying steps, optimizing nudges) or require human intervention; judging which approach fits each segment is central to the role. You will build repeatable flywheels and develop segmented models that determine which partners receive digital-only experiences, digital assistance, or one-to-one engagement. Current team priorities include scaling the largest onboarding experiment to date, building predictive models to route partners to human or digital support, opening new channels (agentic outreach, voice, live chat), and connecting partner onboarding to broader platform adoption across Xero, Syft, and Melio. The team is small, remote-first, and async by design, spanning the US, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. You'll report to a manager in the UK and collaborate across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success without formal authority. The role is based in the San Mateo office with a flexible hybrid arrangement; some schedule flexibility will help accommodate your globally distributed team. Qualifications: - Demonstrated experience spotting broken experiences in data, shipping fixes, and measuring commercial results, ideally in SaaS or AI businesses - Strong experimentation mindset: designing clean A/B tests, reading results honestly, and deciding what to scale or stop - Data-driven decision-making across funnel analytics, behavioral signals, customer segmentation, and propensity modeling - Curiosity about what drives accountants and bookkeepers; ability to identify nuance between segments for sharp targeting - Ability to influence Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success as a genuine partner without relying on formal authority - Comfort with ambiguity; bias toward shipping, learning, and refining over waiting for perfect plans - Organized enough to hold long programs together across multiple teams
