Ibotta, a leading performance marketing platform (NYSE: IBTA), is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Product Data to own the product data foundation of the Ibotta Performance Network (IPN). You will set strategy for the full product data stack, including catalog management, automated enrichment and correction, identity resolution (mapping receipt text and retailer SKUs to canonical GTINs), and search/recommendation capabilities that help teams discover and understand products at scale.
Key responsibilities include: owning the product catalog end-to-end (system of record, schema, APIs, human tools); building automated, self-improving enrichment engines that fill and correct product attributes at scale; owning product identity resolution and match layers; delivering product search and recommendations; defining and reporting north star metrics for each data area; partnering with Engineering, Analytics, and Decision Science teams; and communicating vision, strategy, and roadmap to senior leadership.
You will work at the intersection of AI/ML, data infrastructure, internal tooling, and commercial use cases to improve product accuracy, coverage, and usability. This role requires balancing automated pipelines with human-in-the-loop review and ensuring clean data contracts across campaign design, execution, and measurement.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years owning backend, platform, or infrastructure-heavy domains (ideally catalog, data platforms, content systems, search, ML/AI-adjacent products); BA/BS in computer science, engineering, or related technical field; familiarity with data modeling, APIs, and data pipelines; ability to interrogate data directly and contribute to technical design conversations; working understanding of ML-assisted data systems (precision/recall trade-offs, confidence thresholds, human review routing); decisive judgment in ambiguity; deep, hands-on AI fluency with daily use of tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot; and exceptional writing and communication skills.
Nice-to-have: experience with CPG or retail product data (GTIN/UPC standards, GS1, syndicated data providers); performance marketing, adtech, or retail media product experience.
Position is hybrid (3 days in office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in Denver. Relocation bonus available. Must be US-based.
