Jerry.ai is a profitable, Series C, YC-backed startup with 5M+ customers and $240M in funding. The company is building an AI-powered advisor to manage physical assets, starting with car insurance and now expanding into home, motorcycle, RV, and boat insurance, plus adjacent non-insurance products like property tax savings tools.
You will own one of several emerging product bets, with 0-to-1 scope across new verticals. The specific product area will depend on your background and interests—options include motorcycle insurance (recently launched), home insurance (recently launched), specialty vehicle insurance (boat, RV in concept phase), or non-insurance products like property tax optimization (launching soon).
Your core responsibilities:
- Ramp quickly on a new domain with no established frameworks or prior PM playbook
- Synthesize quantitative data from the Data Science team and qualitative insights from Customer Insights & Research to identify high-leverage priorities
- Own execution from early concept or early launch through product-market fit and scaling
- Build and ship products, gather customer feedback rapidly, iterate, and compound on what works
- Act as a key contributor to the product roadmap with meaningful ownership
The role demands comfort with complexity: property tax rules vary by county, specialty vehicle insurance involves regulatory nuances, and these are not clean, well-scoped problems. You will have real impact on the company's trajectory over the next few years.
The company culture emphasizes first-principles thinking, ownership mentality, empathy, and diligence. You'll work alongside talented leaders from Nvidia, Meta, Amazon, BCG, McKinsey, Bain, and GEICO. Jerry has been recognized as a top Y Combinator company and a Forbes/Statista best startup employer.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years in management consulting (MBB or equivalent), consumer-facing product management, or equivalent role at a high-growth startup
- Consumer product instincts, either from direct product building experience or close collaboration with consumer product teams
- Comfort with data: ability to run independent analysis and build conviction from messy signals
- Must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada (hiring restrictions apply)
