Mollie is a European fintech founded in 2004, serving 250,000+ businesses with payments and money management solutions. The company operates across 12+ locations with 900+ employees and is one of Europe's fastest-growing fintechs.
You will own a significant portion of Mollie's Business Banking product, a new and ambitious initiative. This is a build-from-scratch opportunity with a unique advantage: Mollie is an established payment service provider with a large, engaged customer base, now layering a full banking proposition on top. You'll combine the pace and ambition of building something new with the resources, customers, and best practices of a scaled business.
You'll lead a cross-functional team spanning design, product, and data analytics in a hands-on capacity. While there are no direct reports, you'll own the team's day-to-day performance and ensure timely shipping. You'll work alongside experienced product leaders who have successfully executed similar initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building net-new propositions and customer experiences that don't yet exist, not incremental iteration
- Developing customer-facing product and APIs across Mollie's web and native mobile apps for business banking customers
- Layering a banking proposition on Mollie's existing payments infrastructure to reach already-active and engaged customers
- Operating the full product lifecycle from early-stage building through scaling
- Collaborating with experienced, passionate product leaders in a high-ambition, high-resource environment
As the business banking product area expands across Europe, you'll grow alongside it, building a meaningful distribution channel from the ground up. The company emphasizes personal growth, regular feedback, performance reviews, and transparent salary practices.
Mollie's culture centers on "Always Be Shipping" and integrates AI across all teams and roles to move faster, simplify work, and make smarter decisions.
Requirements:
- Experience leading a cross-functional product team in a hands-on, everyday capacity
- Comfort with the full product lifecycle, including early-stage building and scaling
- Ability to operate in a high-ambition, high-resource environment alongside experienced and passionate product leaders
