Opiniion is a resident experience platform that helps property managers collect real-time feedback, improve resident satisfaction, and enhance online reputation. As Senior Product Manager reporting to the SVP of Product & AI, you will own a product area end-to-end, including the business case and strategic direction—not just the backlog.
You will define and build Opiniion's new AI platform leveraging resident data, from initial prototype through production. Key responsibilities include: (1) AI Platform Development—shepherd the platform from concept to customer dependency; (2) Intelligence Quality—define correctness metrics for every model-backed feature, build evaluation frameworks, and design graceful failure states; (3) Prioritization—synthesize feature requests, support tickets, sales asks, and internal opinions to identify core problems and make hard tradeoffs against finite engineering capacity; (4) Prototyping—build working prototypes yourself using tools like Claude, Cursor, and Figma, validate with customers, and hand engineering something tangible to react to; (5) Problem Discovery—engage directly with property managers, regional leaders, and on-site teams to uncover real needs beneath surface requests.
The role emphasizes a "show me, don't tell me" culture. You should already use AI tools daily for research, spec, and prototyping, and be comfortable working directly in the codebase alongside engineers rather than handing off requirements documents. You'll decide what gets built and what doesn't, run multiple workstreams simultaneously, and bring a bias toward shipping real customer value weekly. The hardest part of the job is finding the genuine problem underneath customer requests and solving that instead of the surface ask.
