Arcadia is an AI-powered energy intelligence platform for enterprises. The company helps Fortune 2000 businesses manage utility bills, procure energy, and advance sustainability across multiple locations at scale through three core solutions: Utility Bill Management (automating the entire bill lifecycle), Energy Procurement Advisory (combining data, AI analytics, and market expertise), and Sustainability Reporting (verified emissions data with platform integration).
You will join as Senior Product Manager for the Presentment value stream within Arcadia's Utility Data Platform (UDP) pillar. Presentment owns the customer-facing layer of the utility data pipeline—including Plug, UDS, DELI, and DICE—that enables customers and downstream systems to manage, retrieve, and consume utility data. You will define and drive product requirements for Plug's presentment capabilities: the APIs, delivery workflows, and customer-facing tools that make Arcadia's unified data model usable at scale. You will partner closely with the Presentment product lead, who sets overall roadmap direction.
Key responsibilities include: driving execution of the Plug presentment roadmap and customer-facing APIs; defining, prioritizing, and shipping features that scale Plug across new and existing customer use cases; partnering with engineering to evolve data delivery architecture and AWS cloud infrastructure decisions; defining and maintaining clear API contracts and specifications for downstream teams and external partners; collaborating with front-end engineering and design on customer-facing tools (delivery configuration, status visibility, self-serve workflows); partnering with upstream Extraction, Auditing & Storage (EAS) teams to ensure alignment with the unified data model; writing clear product requirements and specs for technical and non-technical audiences; owning day-to-day management of keep-the-lights-on (KTLO) work and balancing run-the-business activities and tech-debt reduction against new capability delivery; using AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) to improve personal and team productivity; monitoring and communicating progress to stakeholders and leadership; collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and other UDP value streams; and contributing to public-facing API documentation so external partners and customers can self-serve integration.
The Presentment engineering team consists of 10+ engineers and 2 engineering managers split across the US and India. You will collaborate frequently with engineering teams in both regions, other Presentment and UDP product leads, and cross-functional teams like Customer Success and Operations.
Note: This is not an AI-native product role. The mandate is data presentment and delivery, not building AI/ML product features. However, you should be comfortable using AI tools to boost your own and your team's productivity.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, detail-oriented systems thinker who enjoys breaking complex problems into smaller steps that drive iterative delivery. You should be comfortable moving between API specs, front-end wireframe reviews, and cloud architecture discussions, and can turn distinct customer and downstream-team needs into a coherent, well-documented presentment layer.
Workplace: Hybrid with remote-first policy. Office located in Chennai for in-person collaboration as needed.
Benefits include: competitive compensation based on market standards, flexible leave policy, comprehensive accident and life insurance, medical insurance (1+5 family members), flexible benefit plan, awards and bonus, annual performance cycle, and quarterly engagement activities. The company cultivates a supportive engineering culture that values diversity, empathy, teamwork, trust, and efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS:
The posting excerpt provided does not include a dedicated requirements section. However, based on the role description, the ideal candidate should have: experience as a Senior Product Manager or equivalent; comfort with API design and technical specifications; experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred); ability to manage cross-functional teams and dependencies; experience with data platforms or data delivery systems; familiarity with product roadmapping and prioritization; strong written and verbal communication skills; experience working with distributed engineering teams; and comfort using AI tools (Cursor, Claude) to enhance productivity.
