Enpal is building the future of decentralized energy in Europe through its innovation subsidiary Omniwatt. The company's mission is to bring smart energy products directly to consumers, including smart meters, electricity tariffs, and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) solutions.
As a Product Engineer, you will work at the intersection of product, engineering, and growth, building the B2C growth engine from the ground up. You'll develop and launch digital products, build and test MVPs, and implement technical solutions that drive customer acquisition.
Key responsibilities include:
**Build & Launch Digital Products**
- Develop customer-facing applications, landing pages, and conversion funnels to support B2C growth
- Rapidly develop, launch, and iterate on MVPs to test hypotheses and validate new product ideas
- Design and run data-driven experiments to measure performance and continuously improve customer acquisition
**Drive Product & Growth**
- Work closely with C-level members and the Commercial Team to identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and increase conversion rates
- Translate commercial needs into product requirements and prioritize initiatives based on business impact
- Leverage AI-powered tools and develop custom solutions to automate workflows and improve commercial performance
**Collaborate Across Teams**
- Partner with central engineering teams on API integrations, customer handovers, and data consistency across systems
- Take end-to-end ownership of technical initiatives, proactively managing dependencies and balancing speed with quality and scalability
- Act as the technical interface between Commercial and Engineering, aligning business requirements with technical implementation
This role offers end-to-end ownership of the full product lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to shipping solutions and measuring commercial impact. You'll operate in an entrepreneurial environment where rapid prototyping, testing, and learning are everyday activities.

**Requirements:**
- Educational background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related quantitative field
- Relevant experience: Professional experience in software engineering, product development, technical product management, or as a startup founder, ideally in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
- Hands-on engineering skills: Strong proficiency in modern web technologies including JavaScript, React/Next.js, and HTML/CSS. Experience with tools such as Vercel, Supabase, and PostHog or comparable alternatives
- Strong drive to achieve ambitious goals, take ownership, and consistently deliver results, even with limited resources
- Proven track record of independently developing and shipping products, tools, or automations that have created measurable business impact
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-informed decisions and measure the impact of your work
- Full professional proficiency in German and English
