Salary: USD 160,000 - 190,000 / annual
Read AI is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own the meeting lifecycle experience for its AI-powered collaboration platform. The role focuses on designing how Read AI captures, processes, and presents meeting intelligence across desktop, mobile, web, and native integrations with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Slack, and other platforms.
Key ownership areas include: the live capture experience (how Read becomes ready, starts, pauses, recovers, and completes capture while keeping the meeting as the user's primary focus); failure, recovery, and edge cases (designing for denied permissions, interrupted capture, and partial records); trust and participant control (disclosure, consent, notification, and opt-out experiences that balance transparency with usability); and coherence across capture mechanisms (maintaining a consistent customer-facing model across surfaces and platforms).
As the roadmap evolves, you will also shape live in-meeting assistance features including notes, questions, and retrieval designed for latency, uncertainty, and revision.
You will operate as a peer to Product and Engineering, identifying problems, shaping direction, making trade-offs, and owning outcomes. This is a hands-on senior role requiring independent ownership of complex product areas, strong interaction and visual craft, and the ability to prototype complex behavior. You'll influence the roadmap, create structure in ambiguous problems, partner through implementation, and evaluate success.
