Adyen is a global financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products for enterprise customers including Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft.
You will join Adyen's Procurement team within the Finance function as a Senior Procurement Manager focused on the data center category. This is a hands-on role working alongside a category manager and supply chain manager. As Adyen scales, your scope may expand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a business partner to Infrastructure, Data Center Engineering, Legal, and Sustainability teams, delivering value and enabling their strategies
- Lead and initiate commercial negotiations, including contract renewals and new agreements
- Own the supplier selection process, RFx development, and vendor screening
- Collaborate with Infrastructure on roadmaps, including data center expansion plans
- Monitor vendor performance against contractual agreements
- Track and report on industry trends
- Build and maintain relationships with key vendors
The role contributes to Adyen's 10x ambition through sustainable commercial decisions, risk mitigation, and strategic vendor management.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant experience in category management or sourcing
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in the data center space, including hardware and services
- Well-organized with a pragmatic problem-solving approach
- Data-driven with strong analytical mindset
- Natural networker with excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Proficient in English; additional language fluency is advantageous
- Global mindset with ability to work across time zones and cultures
- Strong project management skills, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently
