Celonis is seeking a Senior Process Intelligence & Supply Chain Transformation Consultant (internal title: Senior Value Engineer) to serve as a trusted advisor helping customers achieve strategic goals and realize significant value using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. This role combines deep process expertise with consulting and analytical skills at a fast-growing enterprise AI company.
You will own the end-to-end value journey for customers—landing, expanding, adopting, and renewing. Working in partnership with Celonis Sales Teams and Services, you will translate customer objectives into high-impact use cases, build business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks, and conduct value assessments or proof-of-value projects. You will facilitate business value workshops to identify process enhancement opportunities, derive improvement measures across core business functions, and present results to C-level executives. You will also build strategic expansion roadmaps, drive platform adoption, and provide feedback to product development teams based on new use cases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Discovering and translating strategic priorities into Celonis use cases
- Building demos and business cases with industry benchmarks
- Conducting value assessments and communicating opportunities to executives
- Facilitating workshops and identifying process improvement opportunities
- Managing the full customer value journey across multiple accounts at different stages
- Presenting roadmaps and results to senior stakeholders
- Collaborating with Celonis partners and services teams
This role requires native-level German proficiency (written and spoken) to lead customer workshops, conduct executive presentations, and manage stakeholder interactions in German.
Qualifications:
- Experience in an analytical role demonstrating value through business data analysis, process improvement, and software deployment, ideally in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT/Management Consulting with a Business Software/SaaS provider, or in an in-house role (e.g., Center of Excellence for Data Mining/Analytics/Intelligence) within an enterprise
- Good knowledge of Business Software/SaaS applications (e.g., SAP), experience implementing RPA and/or BI tools, building dashboards, apps, and action flows
- Knowledge of Python and/or SQL
- Experience collaborating with IT teams
- Experience identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures; ability to act as a change agent and train users/process owners
- Experience planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines across multiple accounts
- Experience preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders; excellent communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain domain and strategic transformation initiatives (e.g., Shared Services Transformation, System Transformation)
- Ideally, expertise in one or more industries (Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals) and ability to develop deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities
- Degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or comparable program
- Native-level or near-native German language skills (written and spoken)
