Perk (formerly TravelPerk) is an intelligent travel and spend management platform trusted by 12,000+ companies globally. The company automates travel bookings, expenses, invoice processing, and related workflows to eliminate shadow work and boost productivity. Founded in 2015, Perk has grown to 1,800+ employees across 12 offices, with headquarters in London and Boston. This Senior PR Manager role owns Perk's US and UK media strategy and presence, reporting to the Director of Communications. You will be the primary driver of earned media coverage in Tier 1 financial and business press (WSJ, Bloomberg, FT, CNBC, Forbes, etc.), building and maintaining deep journalist relationships and securing high-impact coverage. Key responsibilities include: leading day-to-day PR activity from proactive pitching and newsjacking to reactive press office and crisis communications; cultivating genuine relationships with top-tier journalists; developing and maintaining Perk's corporate narrative around growth, financial performance, and AI innovation; partnering closely with the C-suite to build executive media profiles and prepare spokespeople for interviews; translating complex AI and technology innovations into compelling business press narratives; managing and holding US and UK PR agencies accountable to clear KPIs; and integrating AI tools into PR workflows for media monitoring, drafting, research, and reporting. You will need extensive PR or corporate communications experience with a proven track record in US and UK markets, deep existing relationships with Tier 1 financial and business press, and a strong background in financial communications (funding rounds, M&A, business performance narratives). Financial services, fintech, or B2B SaaS experience is essential. You should be a sharp writer, confident media trainer, and commercially minded professional who understands how PR drives pipeline and competitive positioning. Comfort with data-driven storytelling and AI-enabled workflows is required. This is a self-starter role requiring independence to own a dual-market PR programme while collaborating across time zones with a global team.
