Superhuman (formerly Grammarly, now part of a unified AI productivity platform) is seeking a Senior People Partner to embed within Engineering, Product, Design, and Marketing teams across a business unit. This is a strategic HR role at a pivotal moment: the company has recently integrated multiple acquisitions (Grammarly, Coda, Superhuman Mail, Rows, GPTZero) into a single platform and is scaling across multiple business units. You will partner closely with C-suite executives and leaders at all levels to drive organizational health, talent strategy, and people programs. Key responsibilities include: building deep relationships and providing coaching across the organization on org design, performance management, and change management; owning talent strategy end-to-end including talent reviews, calibrations, and performance management with a high bar; collaborating with the broader People team (L&D, Compensation, Ops, Recruiting) on programs like leveling and equity initiatives; partnering with leaders, finance, and recruiting on translating business priorities into team structures and headcount planning; and operating proactively as a strategic business partner, not just an HR administrator. The role requires 5+ years of people partner experience at scaling companies, ideally with involvement in building people functions from the ground up. You should have demonstrated ability to build high-trust relationships quickly across organizational levels, experience supporting Engineering, Product, Design, and/or Marketing organizations, and strong judgment navigating complex employee situations with speed, structure, and care. You'll need strong business acumen to connect people strategy to business outcomes, experience owning talent calibrations and performance management end-to-end, and the ability to work independently and proactively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Experience with compensation review processes, pay equity analysis, and post-acquisition or multi-product company environments is a plus. The position is hybrid based in San Francisco with expectations to collaborate in-person 2 times per week, though remote arrangements may be considered for exceptional candidates. Superhuman offers competitive compensation (market-based, varying by location), comprehensive health benefits, 401(k) matching, paid parental leave, 20 days PTO plus 12 holidays, generous stipends for wellness and home office, and annual professional development budget.
