Salary: USD 120,000 - 150,000 / annual

You will serve as Senior People Business Partner for the Agency Team, a customer-facing, revenue-generating group of hourly and commission-based employees operating 7 days a week. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of People Business Partners, with significant influence over people strategy and organizational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the people relationship and strategy for your client group, embedding with leaders and managers to understand business operations and shape decisions on structure, talent, coaching, and performance.
- Standardize hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development practices for frontline teams, improving talent decision quality across the group.
- Advise leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, and change management using data-driven insights.
- Independently manage sensitive employee relations matters including investigations, performance management, and compliance; escalate to Legal as needed.
- Partner with workforce management on attendance policy, administration, and process improvement.
- Analyze and act on workforce metrics (turnover, attrition, absenteeism, time to fill, internal mobility) specific to your client group.
- Design and lead training sessions for managers and employees on performance management, development, and well-being.
- Partner on compensation actions for hourly structures including shift differentials, overtime, and pay equity analysis.
- Develop frameworks for work definition, leveling, and rewards; conduct market analysis and role architecture work.
- Identify process breakdowns and lead change initiatives from diagnosis through adoption and sustainability.
- Serve as senior voice on People team strategy, elevating HR practice across the function.
You'll work closely with business leadership, People Operations, and cross-functional colleagues. The role requires hands-on involvement with details, data analysis, and documentation, plus occasional non-standard hours to support multi-shift operations.
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years of professional HR experience with emphasis on strategic business partnership, employee relations, and generalist work
- Experience working with hourly, call-center, and/or sales employees; proven ability to independently manage high case volume employee relations issues
- Demonstrated autonomy and ability to influence leaders and managers while navigating ambiguity with sound judgment
- Builder's instinct: identify gaps and drive quick escalation, correction, or improvement
- Comfort with details: data analysis, decision documentation, and establishing structure
- Working knowledge of FMLA, EEO, ADA, and applicable state/federal employment laws; good judgment on when to escalate to Legal
- Experience managing high case volume employee relations independently
- Experience with hourly workforce, leave management, and ADA interactive process at scale
- Strong relationship-building skills with frontline leaders (not just senior leadership)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting sales, commissioned, or quota-carrying teams
- Experience with hourly populations or contact center environments
- Exposure to compensation structures, job architecture, or leveling frameworks
- Background in tech, insurance, or scaling B2C businesses
- PHR/SHRM-CP or SPHR/SHRM-SCP certification
