Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join its UKI (UK & Ireland) team based in London. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and client partnership, focusing on large enterprise clients in the private sector, including household names on the UK high street.
You will collaborate with clients from early-stage ideation through production planning, serving as a trusted technical advisor who goes beyond product knowledge to solve complex Internet infrastructure and security challenges. The role emphasizes deep technical work on the "art of the possible," combining networking, cybersecurity, and edge computing expertise with operational deployment mindset.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical guidance and best-practice recommendations tailored to client context
- Developing deep partnerships with large enterprise clients to understand their unique challenges
- Contributing to solutions engineering body-of-knowledge across networking, cybersecurity, and edge computing domains
- Managing technical validation projects and proof-of-concepts
- Advocating for clients' needs internally while representing Cloudflare's capabilities externally
- Collaborating with a diverse SE team spanning backgrounds from customer support, product management, software engineering, and consulting
You bring fundamental understanding of technical project management, strong ability to explain complex concepts clearly, and genuine curiosity about Internet technology. Experience in one or two core domains (networking, security, infrastructure, or related fields) is valuable, though the role emphasizes learning agility and breadth.
