Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Named Account Executive to drive enterprise sales growth across South Africa (Gauteng and Western Cape regions), based in Dubai with hybrid flexibility. You will lead comprehensive sales cycles for a portfolio of assigned enterprise-level clients, managing multi-million dollar territories while strategically acquiring new logos in complex IT environments.
In this role, you will demonstrate advanced sales proficiency across all activities: territory planning, pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and consistent quota attainment. You'll serve as a subject matter expert on Cloudflare's platform—products, features, benefits, and use cases—speaking fluently to diverse customer segments from C-suite to technical leaders (VP/Head of Networking, Security, etc.).
Key responsibilities include architecting territory and account plans to exceed annual targets; developing deep understanding of customers' IT architectures and third-party technology stacks; aligning Cloudflare Reference Architectures to customer environments; orchestrating multiple complex engagements across business units; and leading a virtual team of in-region specialists, Product Managers, Deal Desk, and Legal to close deals. You will act as a digital transformation authority, positioning Cloudflare as a critical enabler of customer strategic initiatives, articulating compelling value propositions tied directly to business outcomes, and expertly negotiating and closing large-scale platform sales.
The ideal candidate combines advanced sales acumen with sophisticated technical understanding, enabling engagement at all organizational levels. You will proactively manage complex customer situations, escalate appropriately, and drive urgency and efficient delivery across internal and external stakeholders.
