As a Senior ML Engineer, you will contribute to the development and refinement of Sword's clinical-grade AI systems. The role involves working on medical reasoning models, safety-critical AI systems, and real-time treatment applications. You'll collaborate with clinical experts, product teams, and fellow engineers to build AI that directly impacts patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing machine learning solutions for healthcare applications, optimizing model performance for clinical accuracy and safety, contributing to the company's 59+ clinical studies and 43+ patents, and helping scale AI systems across multiple health domains. The position offers the opportunity to work on frontier AI problems with direct real-world healthcare impact, backed by leading investors including Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst, and Founders Fund.
