The Growth team owns user acquisition and volume conversion across channels and geographies. This Senior Media Planner role sits at the center of media investment strategy and analytics, requiring someone to build the analytical backbone that makes every dollar accountable.
Key responsibilities include: building media plans across channels, categories, and geographies with clear, defensible recommendations; owning forecasting for spend, volume, acquisition cost, payback, and seasonality with scenario modeling; pacing spend daily and weekly against allocations and flagging delivery issues early; leading measurement approaches including mix modeling, incrementality testing, and geographic experiments; reconciling every media dollar spent and tying platform spend to invoices, finance ledgers, and accruals; hunting for edge in auction dynamics, underpriced inventory, and seasonality patterns; and building reporting and analytics infrastructure including dashboards and metric definitions.
Required qualifications: 6+ years in media planning, marketing analytics, or growth strategy with real ownership of plans and numbers; deep fluency across paid channels (search, social, programmatic, video, audio, offline); strong quantitative foundation in forecasting and scenario modeling with SQL and BI tooling proficiency; hands-on experience with mix modeling, incrementality testing, and geographic experiments; financial rigor with reconciliation and accruals experience; ability to compress complex analysis into executive-ready one-page recommendations; demonstrated follow-through on spend pacing and corrections.
Preferred: background in trading, fintech, or event-driven demand businesses; experience building mix modeling in-house or managing measurement vendors; technical range in Python or R; direct ownership of or meaningful contribution to a marketing P&L.
