Nametag is building secure digital identity solutions for enterprises to verify humans behind accounts and prevent social engineering and deepfake attacks. The company is hiring a Senior Marketing Manager to own a meaningful share of day-to-day content output across multiple channels and formats.
You will be the primary hands-on content engine, responsible for turning product updates, customer stories, and industry trends into blog posts, emails, one-pagers, and social threads. This is a content-first, generalist role that requires excellent technical B2B writing skills and comfort moving across channels rather than specializing in a single lane.
Key responsibilities include:
**Content Creation & Editorial Ownership**: Write and edit recurring content including blog posts, thought-leadership articles, email newsletters, and website copy. Maintain consistent voice and terminology across all materials using Nametag's messaging and style guide. Translate technical product details into copy that resonates with security, IT, and HR buyers without sacrificing accuracy.
**Sales & Customer-Facing Collateral**: Write and refresh one-pagers, solution briefs, and customer stories. Convert customer conversations and Customer Success input into concrete proof points and case studies. Keep collateral current as messaging and product details evolve.
**Multi-Channel Campaign Support**: Write copy for Growth Marketing campaigns across email, social, paid, and landing pages. Adapt core messages across formats so campaigns feel coordinated. Support A/B testing with fresh copy variants.
**Event & Field Marketing**: Produce content for conferences and field events, including talk-track material, dinner and panel briefs, and pre/post-event follow-up. Partner with Channel Partnerships on co-marketing content.
**Editorial Calendar & Coordination**: Own and maintain the marketing content calendar, coordinating inputs from Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Design, and Sales. Flag gaps and inconsistencies in messaging and drive resolution.
**Performance & Iteration**: Track content performance metrics including engagement, email metrics, and content-influenced pipeline in partnership with Growth Marketing to prioritize future content.
You'll work closely with Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Design, Sales, Customer Success, and Channel Partnerships, often serving as the person who transforms raw material into polished, customer-ready content.
**Requirements**:
- Approximately 8 years in B2B marketing, with meaningful time in content-heavy roles (content marketing, editorial, communications, or marketing generalist roles centered on writing)
- Genuine comfort as a generalist who prefers moving across multiple channels well rather than owning one channel deeply
- Experience marketing to technical or security-conscious B2B audiences; cybersecurity, IAM, or enterprise IT experience is a strong plus
- Ability to translate customer conversations, product specs, or conference talks into content without losing critical details
- Working familiarity with marketing tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, and CMS platforms (Webflow or similar); light design-tool comfort (e.g., Canva) is useful but not required
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong sense of ownership and bias toward shipping
The company values intellectual horsepower, kindness and integrity, bias for action, and an ownership mindset. Nametag is remote-first with quarterly in-person off-sites, flexible schedules across time zones, and a team spanning Seattle, San Francisco, Ann Arbor, Denver, New York City, and beyond.
