Mytra is building a new class of robotic systems to solve material handling and storage across the $1T supply chain industry. The company applies robotics and distributed software to address e-commerce growth, rising costs, and supply chain disruptions.
As Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will join the Manufacturing Engineering team during rapid scaling. You'll architect comprehensive test strategies, improve first-pass yield, and ensure every robot operates flawlessly in demanding warehouse environments.
Key responsibilities:
• Architect & Optimize Test Coverage: Assess manufacturing test coverage, identify quality risks, and design strategic plans for upstream and in-line test stations to boost end-of-line first-pass yields.
• Develop Automated Test Infrastructure: Design and build automated test stations combining mechatronics expertise with Python-based automation to create scalable, reliable testing infrastructure for complex robotic systems.
• Manage Manufacturing Data Systems: Define data collection requirements and implement robust data management solutions to track testing metrics, support statistical process control, and drive continuous quality improvement.
• Drive Quality & System Bring-up: Own end-of-line testing operations and system bring-up procedures, utilizing root cause analysis and failure mode identification to resolve quality issues alongside cross-functional engineering teams.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years of manufacturing test engineering experience, ideally with complex electro-mechanical systems, robotics, or warehouse automation in production environments. You should have proven expertise in automated test station design, Python programming for test automation, mechatronics development, and hardware test frameworks (Python, LabVIEW). Understanding of end-of-line testing, system bring-up, manufacturing data systems, and statistical process control is essential. You excel at cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software teams, and demonstrate openness, inquisitiveness, and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.
