Salary: USD 126,000 - 212,000 / annual
Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team at their Devens, MA facility on the third shift (Monday–Friday, 10 pm–6:30 am). As a hands-on, detail-oriented engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality across the production line. You will serve as the magnet owner, holding overall accountability for your shift's operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing manufacturing processes that enhance productivity and quality
- Optimizing production workflows and identifying efficiency improvements
- Collaborating closely with design engineers, production staff, quality assurance, and supply chain teams
- Ensuring shift-level accountability for magnet manufacturing operations
- Troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
