Salary: USD 131,800 - 337,500 / annual
Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Senior Manager of Third-Party Events to own the strategy and execution of the company's portfolio of major industry events, including tentpole programs like WEF/Davos and RSAC. This is the most senior individual contributor role on the Global Events team, reporting to the Director of Global Events.
You will manage significant program budgets (typically $1M+), design experiences that drive real behavior change at every event, and partner directly with C-suite stakeholders and cross-functional teams across Marketing, Sales, Field Marketing, and Alliances. Key responsibilities include owning event strategy and execution, managing vendor contracts and SOWs, driving executive attendance from priority accounts, directing agency partners and on-site staff, and leveraging AI tools to plan and execute events more effectively.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of event marketing or experiential marketing experience in B2B tech, with proven ownership of high-profile tier-one tradeshow programs. You should demonstrate a track record of designing premium executive engagement programs, the ability to run multiple high-stakes events simultaneously, and strong contract negotiation and budget management skills. Experience with event platforms (Salesforce, Cvent), AI tools (Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT), and procurement tools (Coupa) is valued. You lead people you don't manage, create clarity in ambiguous situations, and are comfortable with 40–60% domestic and international travel.
