Based at headquarters in Long Beach, CA, this hands-on manager role combines deep technical accounting work with team leadership and strategic ownership. You will be responsible for researching complex accounting questions across revenue recognition (ASC 606), business combinations (ASC 805), leases (ASC 842), intangibles (ASC 350), and share-based compensation (ASC 718). You'll work cross-functionally with Legal, Investor Relations, FP&A, and Tax teams to close the loop on open items and ensure all financial obligations are met. This role offers a clear path to greater ownership within a company with genuinely complex accounting driven by aerospace and government contracting dynamics. Required: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; 10+ years accounting experience including public accounting audit; CPA license or active candidacy; solid US GAAP foundation; SEC registrant experience (in-house or audit); strong Excel and data discipline. Preferred: Direct in-house 10-Q/10-K preparation; Workiva and XBRL experience; long-term contract revenue recognition; aerospace/defense/government contracting background; Oracle Cloud, Deltek Costpoint, or Blackline experience. Compensation includes competitive base pay, company stock as part of total compensation, industry-leading ESPP (15% discount), top-tier medical/dental/vision, paid time off, 401(k) match, parental leave, and additional perks including EV charging subsidies and onsite fitness.
