Razorpay, one of India's leading fintech companies, is seeking a Finance Executive to join their growing finance team in Bengaluru. This role sits at the intersection of financial operations and strategic business insights, requiring someone who can manage a larger team while driving operational excellence across accounts receivable, revenue assurance, and financial reporting.
You will own critical finance functions including month-end close reporting for revenue, P&L review with strong variance analysis, balance sheet closing and consolidation, and monthly audit closure. The role demands deep understanding of unit economics and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights for internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include managing revenue assurance functions, driving automation across finance processes, overseeing direct and indirect taxation compliance, and ensuring adherence to control activities. You'll work closely with business partners across the organization to support Razorpay's mission of powering India's digital payment revolution.
Razorpay processes $180+ billion in annualized transactions and serves leading businesses including Airbnb, WhatsApp, Zomato, and over 100 Indian unicorns. The company is backed by top-tier investors including GIC, Peak XV Partners, and Tiger Global, with operations spanning India, Singapore, and Malaysia.
The ideal candidate brings 3-4 years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in fintech or payment gateway environments. You'll need strong analytical capabilities, SAP HANA proficiency (mandatory), and the ability to make independent decisions with high integrity. A bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, or related fields is required; project management or business management qualifications are advantageous.
