Salary: EUR 140,000 - 190,000 / annual
Okta is seeking a Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering to lead the WEMEA (Western Europe, Middle East, Africa) Solution Engineering team based in Dublin. This is a people management role overseeing multiple Solution Engineers across multiple regions, with 40% travel expected.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and coaching a team of Solution Engineers, driving professional growth and career development
- Building cross-functional relationships with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, HR, Finance, and Operations
- Workforce planning, skills gap analysis, and budget alignment
- Leading recruitment efforts and hiring strategies to build high-performing teams
- Remaining hands-on with technical support and customer demonstrations
- Acting as a field ambassador to Product teams, translating customer feedback into product insights
- Collaborating with peer managers on best practices and function strategy
Required experience:
- 3+ years managing high-performing pre-sales or Solution Engineering teams
- Proven experience in Middle East and/or African markets
- Background in pre-sales, Solution Engineering, or Sales Engineering roles combining technical depth with value selling
- Comfort with technical demonstrations and discussions
- Familiarity with MEDDICC sales qualification framework
- Arabic language proficiency
- Experience recruiting in high-growth environments
Nice-to-have qualifications:
- Technical background in security or identity (IAM, CIAM, VPN, MDM, Active Directory, LDAP)
- Knowledge of Okta platform and competitor offerings
