EdCast is seeking a Senior Technical Manager to lead the GTM (Go-To-Market) Systems team's Salesforce engineering function. This role combines people leadership with hands-on technical expertise, overseeing a team of Salesforce engineers while remaining actively involved in solution architecture and platform governance. Key responsibilities include leading and developing a team of Salesforce engineers through 1:1s, performance feedback, and career planning. You will own technical delivery for Salesforce and related GTM platforms, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards. The role requires partnering with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, and GTM stakeholders (Sales, Sales Ops, Service Ops, Deal Desk) to translate business requirements into effort estimates using agile methodologies. You will provide hands-on technical leadership across Salesforce architecture, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, integrations, security models, and data design. Code review, solution design validation, and deployment oversight are core responsibilities. The position involves driving platform modernization, reducing technical debt, and establishing engineering practices for source control, CI/CD, sandbox management, release management, and testing strategy. Additional duties include managing team capacity and sprint commitments across a global delivery model with onsite and offshore resources, supporting hiring and onboarding, and owning escalated production issues and cross-functional dependencies. You will help build a high-performing, inclusive engineering culture focused on accountability, learning, and collaboration. The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership skills with deep Salesforce technical expertise across configuration, automation, customization, and integration patterns. Experience with agile delivery models, enterprise platform governance, and managing distributed teams is essential.
