Extend is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company revolutionizing the post-purchase experience for retailers through AI-driven solutions for customer service, returns management, fulfillment, and fraud detection. The company works with over 1,000 merchant partners and is backed by prominent technology investors.
You will join the People team as a Senior Manager or Director, reporting to the VP of People, and play a central role in scaling Extend's human resources function. This is a broad leadership role combining strategy and execution at a fast pace.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with executive leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness
- Own and optimize people processes with a data-driven lens, identifying opportunities to leverage AI and automation
- Lead the development and execution of internal communication strategies and company-wide People programs, ensuring alignment across all levels
- Oversee performance management, talent reviews, compensation planning, and career development programs
- Coach managers through employee relations, performance conversations, organizational change, and leadership challenges
- Drive strategic People initiatives focused on engagement, learning and development, retention, and manager effectiveness
- Develop scalable manager enablement programs, tools, and resources
- Analyze People metrics and trends to identify opportunities and recommend solutions
- Lead cross-functional initiatives including on- and off-sites
- Maintain People records and required compliance documentation
- Mentor members of the growing People team and establish best practices
You should have 7+ years of progressive experience in people-focused roles at high-growth technology companies, with strong HR Operations or HR Business Partner background. You'll need demonstrated success working with and influencing executives, experience leading company-wide talent initiatives, excellent communication skills, strong business judgment, and proficiency with HRIS systems. A collaborative, low-ego approach with resilience and flexibility is essential.
