Caribou is backed by QED Investors, Goldman Sachs, Moderne Ventures, and others.
In this role, you will run Caribou's vehicle protection business (vehicle service contracts, GAP insurance, and future products), which touches every loan the company funds. You own the revenue and earnings from protection product sales and manage the partner relationships that provide these products.
Key responsibilities:
- Own accountability for protection product attachment rates and F&I business earnings
- Design and launch changes to how the sales team and digital experience present products, with clear success metrics

- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Enablement, Product, Analytics, and Lender Success teams

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5–8 years of experience in strategy and operations, business operations, or general management, ideally in fintech, lending, or marketplace businesses
- Ability to conduct your own analysis: write SQL, build tracking, design experiments, and interpret results
- Proven track record of owning a metric and driving measurable results
- Understanding of how sales teams operate, including training, coaching, and incentive structures
- Experience managing partner relationships, conducting business reviews, and negotiating terms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
BONUS:
- Direct experience with vehicle protection products (VSC, GAP) or their providers
- Startup experience owning a business line or P&L end-to-end
- Fluency with AI tools like LLMs for analysis and writing
