Landline is building decentralized aviation infrastructure that extends airport services beyond traditional boundaries. The company operates Landline Portals and Regional Connect services, enabling passengers in smaller cities to clear security and check bags locally before seamlessly connecting to flights at hub airports. Landline partners with major airlines including American Airlines, Air Canada, and Delta, plus airports, TSA, CLEAR, and municipal partners across the U.S. and Canada. As Senior Manager of Marketing & Branding, you will lead the marketing function through the company's next growth phase. This full-time, in-house role requires a marketing generalist who balances strategic brand positioning with hands-on execution of passenger acquisition, partnership development, and local market activation. You will report to the Managing Director of Product & Marketing and work cross-functionally across the organization. Key responsibilities include: developing and owning overall marketing and brand strategy for both Portals and Regional Connect; building a repeatable local marketing playbook for new route launches and executing it across digital, out-of-home, and earned media; leading passenger acquisition across Google, Meta, and other paid channels; building and managing local and regional partnerships, community relationships, and grassroots initiatives market-by-market; serving as primary contact for local partners including airports, municipalities, tourism boards, and hospitality; representing Landline with corporate marketing teams at major airline partners on co-branded campaigns; building the internal case for marketing investment using acquisition and ridership data; developing go-to-market plans for new routes, markets, and products; managing outside agencies and freelance resources; overseeing brand identity and creative standards across all passenger touchpoints; building the internal marketing function over time, including hiring junior support; managing the marketing budget across paid media, agencies, creative tools, and traditional advertising; and tracking key metrics to inform iteration. You bring 8–10 years of marketing experience with increasing responsibility, in-house brand marketing expertise focused on customer acquisition and direct response, hands-on digital marketing experience (Google, Meta), partnership and grassroots marketing experience, and proven ability to develop localized, geography-specific campaigns rather than single national strategies. You have experience launching new products, entering new markets, and managing outside agencies across creative and media including out-of-home and earned media. You think strategically about connecting marketing to broader business goals, build data-driven cases for investment, can represent the company externally with corporate partners, and operate effectively in resource-constrained, fast-paced environments. Travel, hospitality, or aviation experience is a strong plus, as is experience with service-based, locally-operated businesses.
