Odeko is an all-in-one operations and technology platform serving 20,000+ independent coffee shops, cafes, and food establishments. The platform enables customers to purchase supplies from hundreds of brands, track ordering trends, finance equipment, and access insurance—helping them increase revenue, reduce environmental impact, and save on cost of goods and vendor management time. This is a new, foundational role on the Revenue team. The Senior Manager, Inside Sales will own a large, multi-market portfolio of smaller-revenue, single-location accounts that don't currently warrant dedicated field coverage but are critical to retention, growth, and category adoption. Success requires building real customer intimacy at scale through remote, scalable, market-aware communication—not in-person visits. Key responsibilities include: owning end-to-end retention and growth accountability for a large distributed portfolio; designing and executing market-specific communication and engagement strategies (recognizing that cadence, channel, and messaging vary by warehouse market); continuously segmenting the portfolio to concentrate investment on high-ROI accounts and moments; building and executing proactive selling motions (category expansion, cross-sell, adoption campaigns) distinct from reactive order-taking; surfacing recurring market-level needs and competitive signals to upstream teams; partnering with Marketing Communications on always-on and campaign-based touchpoints; coordinating with Market Operations and in-field managers on account ownership transitions; and building the operating cadence, tooling, and reporting infrastructure from the ground up. This is a build role first: you'll stand up segmentation, cadence, tooling, and playbooks as an individual contributor, with the expectation that it grows into a managed team as the model proves out. You will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. Success is measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS) across the portfolio, revenue growth, margin retention, account retention (logo and location level), and category growth/basket expansion. Key partners include Market Operations, in-field Market Managers, Regional Sales leadership, and Marketing Communications. Required: 7+ years leading account management, customer success, or inside sales functions for large, distributed account bases (backgrounds in distribution, foodservice, CPG, or subscription/tech-enabled services relevant); experience building segmentation frameworks to prioritize thousands of accounts rather than managing every account identically; comfort operating as an individual contributor and builder with track record and ambition to grow the function into a managed team.
