Brex is seeking a Senior Manager, GTM AI Engineer to lead the buildout of a governed, production-grade AI capability for the entire go-to-market organization. This is a net-new role combining strategy, engineering, and embedded partnership—the first person accountable for transforming ad-hoc AI experiments into a standardized, measurable system.
You will own the internal sales enablement AI roadmap, prioritizing investments across the enablement lifecycle (certification, onboarding, content, coaching, ramp). You'll personally write, review, and ship production code—not hand off specs to engineering—building AI tooling for GTM representatives using Python, TypeScript, or comparable languages, with strong preference for LLM and agentic application experience.
Key responsibilities include: setting the prioritization framework for AI applications and tooling; building and standardizing GTM's AI tooling stack; making strategic build-vs-buy decisions (evaluating third-party vendors like Gong, Itero, Highspot against in-house development on Brex's AI stack); and developing deep domain fluency in sales processes, pipeline mechanics, CRM workflows, and quota dynamics to identify where AI creates real leverage versus solving non-problems.
You'll serve as a lynchpin between Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, and Engineering, operating with high autonomy to define the roadmap. Success requires driving adoption—not just deployment—and tracking your own success metrics. You must understand the difference between a live tool and a used tool, and have a bias toward governance and simplicity.
The role is based in Vancouver with hybrid flexibility: minimum three coordinated days in-office per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), plus up to four weeks per year of fully remote work. Brex operates hubs in San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Salt Lake City, and Vancouver.
