Camunda is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to serve as a finance business partner to the Corporate or GTM organization. You will own P&Ls end-to-end and build driver-based financial models that inform critical SaaS investment decisions. Reporting to the VP of FP&A, you'll partner directly with the Senior Leadership Team on hiring, investment prioritization, and resource allocation decisions.
Key responsibilities include: serving as the primary finance partner to SLT on headcount and investment decisions; owning P&L management including budgeting, monthly forecasting, and variance analysis; building and maintaining driver-based models such as long-range plans and bookings forecasts; leading planning cadences (annual, quarterly, monthly) and integrating business partner inputs; managing and developing one Senior Financial Analyst; and administering Adaptive Planning systems while driving AI-augmented workflows.
You bring 6+ years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience with direct C-level partnership (CRO/CMO exposure preferred). You have proven people management experience—hiring, coaching, and managing finance team performance. You demonstrate deep fluency in SaaS cost structures and unit economics (cloud hosting, CoGS vs. OpEx, gross margin drivers) with strong driver-based modeling skills. You're hands-on with enterprise planning platforms (Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment, Planful, or similar) and advanced spreadsheet skills. You communicate clearly at the executive level, work autonomously with focus, integrity, and humility, and are willing to use Camunda's own product.
Nice-to-haves include Adaptive Planning experience, Salesforce knowledge, and experience using AI tools (Claude, etc.) to automate finance workflows. Camunda is a fully remote, global organization transforming into an AI-first company. The company is trusted by 700+ organizations worldwide, including 9 of the top 10 US banks, and was named to GP Bullhound's Top 100 Next Unicorns (2025), is a 2025 Great Place to Work certified company, and a Visionary in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies.
