Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering to lead the Enterprise Integrations Engineering Team. This team designs, builds, and maintains integrations across a wide range of SaaS applications used throughout the organization. You will oversee a team of talented engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Cloudflare's internal integrations solutions, with a focus on scalable, highly reliable integration infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include building out and leading an engineering team, overseeing the development of scalable integration infrastructure, and directly accelerating sales velocity, customer support, and platform experience. You will set clear expectations, provide thoughtful leadership and feedback, and create an environment where engineers can thrive. Your work will play a critical role in the next era of Cloudflare's growth, ensuring initiatives are resilient, scalable, and future-proof.
You will work closely with both technical and business teams, conduct regular retrospectives, and collaborate on ways to improve how the organization builds and delivers integrations. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, and experience leading cross-functional efforts.
Desirable qualifications include experience leading teams of senior engineers, working with cross-functional teams to drive alignment, hiring and building backend API and integrations teams, planning and overseeing execution to meet commitments, building developer-loved APIs that scale, and implementing tools and processes to resolve blockages. Bonus skills include proficiency in Go, experience building RESTful APIs with security best practices, familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, Kibana), Kubernetes experience, and GitLab or CI/CD tool expertise.
