Salary: USD 157,000 - 224,000 / annual

As Senior Manager of Development, you will lead a cross-functional engineering team of 8 developers building next-generation SaaS and hybrid multi-tenant identity and access management products. You report to a Senior Director of Engineering and own all phases of the application lifecycle: requirements, development, testing, and delivery. Key responsibilities include leading and hiring an accomplished software development team, managing recruitment and training, contributing technically through design and code reviews while contributing to the codebase yourself, forecasting and allocating capital and people investments, coordinating with product management on requirements and definitions, and supporting rapid response to production issues (on-call may be required). You bring a minimum of 5 years directly managing development teams that have delivered successful commercial products to market, with at least 2 years leading SaaS teams and processes. You have proven experience hiring and leading outstanding engineers, leading Agile teams and planning processes, and coordinating across product development, product management, and customer services for design, development, testing, delivery, and support. Technical expertise includes Java, Cassandra, Kafka, Amazon Web Services, and Kubernetes (or equivalent enterprise-grade stacks), plus CI/CD commercial cloud architecture and delivery experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required. Ping Identity is headquartered in Denver with global offices and employees.
