Glossier is seeking a Senior Manager, Brand Experiences to lead the cultural and experiential vision for its New York flagship store. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Brand and Integrated Marketing.
You will serve as a cultural programmer, community builder, and producer—defining what Glossier means in New York by transforming the flagship into a cultural hub where experiences drive community, cultural relevance, and authentic connection. You will ideate and execute in-store activations, events, and programming that give people reasons to engage beyond shopping.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evolving the experiential vision for the NY flagship, reimagining how physical retail builds community and creates impactful moments
- Leading end-to-end strategy and execution of in-store events, activations, and experiential programming from concept through launch and post-event analysis
- Identifying and securing culturally relevant partners, collaborators, and community voices aligned with Glossier's positioning
- Owning the experiential and events calendar, identifying opportunities tied to brand priorities, product launches, and cultural trends
- Conceptualizing and executing activations that bring the brand to life in-store with thoughtful guest experience and strong storytelling
- Cultivating authentic relationships with local creators, organizations, and cultural communities across New York
- Driving cross-functional execution across creative, retail, communications, talent, legal, and digital teams
- Leading go-to-market strategy for each experience, ensuring cohesive amplification across owned, earned, and paid channels
- Serving as primary point of contact for partners, vendors, collaborators, and agencies
- Overseeing budgets, contracts, and on-site logistics
- Developing recaps and reporting to track performance and inform future strategy
You bring 6-8 years of experience in experiential marketing, events, brand partnerships, or community building, preferably in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or culture-driven industries. You have exceptional cultural intuition, proven experience designing and executing in-real-life brand experiences with retail components, and a demonstrated track record of building and being active in communities. Deep connectivity within New York culture and existing relationships across creative communities (food, art, fashion, music, wellness, design) are essential. You are a resourceful builder comfortable moving between big-picture strategy and hands-on execution, with excellent communication and cross-functional project management skills.
