Celonis is seeking a Senior Value Engineer to serve as a trusted advisor helping enterprise customers achieve strategic goals and realize significant value using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. This role combines deep process expertise with consulting excellence to drive data-driven business transformation.
You will own the end-to-end value journey for customers—from initial landing through expansion, adoption, and renewal. Working in partnership with Celonis Sales Teams and Services, you will translate customer strategic priorities into high-impact use cases, build compelling business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks, and conduct value assessments or proof-of-value projects.
Key responsibilities include facilitating business value workshops to identify process enhancement opportunities, deriving improvement measures across core business functions, presenting results to C-level executives, and building strategic expansion roadmaps that embed Celonis as a transformational platform. You will manage multiple customer accounts at different stages of their value journey, coordinate with IT teams and implementation partners, and provide feedback to product development on emerging use cases.
Required qualifications: analytical background in solution consulting, sales engineering, or management consulting at a B2B SaaS or software provider; alternatively, inhouse experience in data/analytics centers of excellence. Strong knowledge of enterprise software (SAP), experience implementing RPA, BI tools, dashboards, or action flows. Proficiency in Python and/or SQL. Demonstrated success identifying and deploying process improvement initiatives as a change agent. Project management experience across multiple concurrent engagements. Native-level German proficiency is essential—you must lead customer workshops, conduct executive presentations, and manage stakeholder interactions in German. Based in Munich with travel to customer sites expected.
